Dr. Parsons is committed to improving the eye health of his patients and currently holds a public hospital appointment at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Ballarat Base Hospital. He approaches each patient with compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering the best possible outcomes. His goal is to help patients achieve optimal visual health and improve their quality of life.
He is passionate about providing care to patients with a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. Dr Parsons has specialised training in the management of complex cases, including cataract, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, as well as eyelid and lacrimal problems.
Cataract Surgery
Dr. Parsons employs the latest techniques and technologies in cataract surgery, including advanced intraocular lenses (IOLs) designed to provide customised solutions for individual vision needs. He utilises minimally invasive small-incision procedures and state-of-the-art techniques, avoiding the need for laser-assisted surgery to ensure optimal outcomes and patient comfort.
Oculoplastic Surgery
Dr Parsons expertise includes blepharoplasty, ptosis surgery, and the correction of nasolacrimal duct obstruction. He are also experienced in the management of other conditions including ectropion, entropion and periocular lesion removal including skin cancer excision and reconstruction.
